Wardrobe App Redesign
Whering
Whering is a digital wardrobe app. I led an end-to-end redesign of its information architecture, which had fragmented across overlapping surfaces.
The problem was structural, not visual. Different surfaces did the same job: Canvas and Dress Me were both outfit builders, and Wardrobe, Wishlist, Moodboard, and Lookbook were four containers for one behavior, grouping items.
Casual and power-user actions sat side by side in the nav, flattening priority. Two core journeys broke under it: building an outfit, and planning one for a specific day.
I rebuilt around a cleaner object model: the outfit builders collapsed into one Style surface, the four containers into one Collections primitive, and every outfit into a single Outfit object.
The result is a five-tab structure that keeps casual loops up top and pushes power-user surfaces one tier down. The product scales with the user instead of overwhelming on entry.
